Maybelline's Colic

About a week ago, Maridee's SW mare, Maybelline was diagnosed with colic. It was a very serious case, and all of the prayers have been answered. May is all better now, but last night, Maridee rode her for the first time since before May was sick. Brave Maridee tried jumping the highly strung mare, and May took off at full speed bucking and rearing. It took a whole gallop around the ring until Maridee could slow May back down to walk. Poor Maridee almost got rammed into the fence and halfway fell off until she pulled herself back up. We are all very thankful that Maridee and Maybelline are safe and healthy. We all know never to jump this horse unless we want to fall off.
